Low Calorie Diet – Day 3

If you are interested in following my low – calorie diet, you can click here to start from the beginning. Today was not as busy so I actually had time to experiment with a few things! It is pretty amazing the things that start tasting really good after you have been depriving yourself of your favorite greasy foods for almost a week! lol!  My mom told me what she used to do with brown rice when she was dieting, so I decided to try that out. It was surprisingly pretty good!

Quaker Bar

  • Breakfast
Coffee – 0 Calories
Quaker Stila bar – 100 Calories
  • Lunch
100% Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins – 100 calories (1 roll)
Butterball Thin and Crispy Everyday Turkey Bacon – 60 calories(4 Slices) *Could have used just 2 slices, but I was hungry* :)
Wishbone Ranch Salad Spritzer – 15 calories -10 sprays
Sliced Kosher Dill Pickle – 0 Calories
Raw Spinach – 3 calories
Salt – Pinch
Pepper – Pinch
Diet Coke – 0 Calories
  • Dinner  
1tsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil  - 40 calories
1/3 cup of cooked Brown rice – 72 calories
1Tsp Garlic- 4 calories
1Tbsp of Chopped Onion – 4 calories
3 Chopped Baby Carrots  - 16 Calories (didn’t have the carrot shreds that my mom used)
Added Basil and Cilantro for seasoning
  • Snacks
Fig Newton Strawberry Minis – 130  calories
1TBSP of Peanut Butter – 90 calories
Skinny Latte (Starbucks) – My late night escape from the kids – 90 calories
Total Calories – 736
