When selected for the #MealsTogether Tyson campaign, I was SUPER PUMPED! It is not just my kids that love Tyson’s nuggets, but I think I love them just as much! When I arrived at Sam’s Club to attend the demo, I was a little worried at first because I saw TONS of demos, but couldn’t find Tyson’s stand! I felt pretty dumb when I didn’t even think to look in the frozen food section LOL. Our demo lady was SOO much fun! She was having just as much fun making characters out of the chicken nuggets as we were! My friend Malary came along for the ride and since it was around lunchtime that we went, I believe she would have ate the entire plate of chicken nuggets if they would have let her!!! LOL. She is pregnant and free food sounds like heaven to her!

Of course we had to try out the other demos that Sam’s club had going on!

I was patiently waiting for the Tyson nuggets to cook in the oven, but unfortunately my kids were going crazy waiting for them to be finished! They have NOT learned the word patient yet I guess at age 5, 4, and 2 that is a little much to ask for right? hehe!

We decided to make two snowmen and one Mickey Mouse The Mickey Mouse was a bit tricky, but we managed! The ingredients we had out on the table was ranch, BBQ sauce, Ketchup, and Mustard! I even bought some paint sponges to make it more creative!

We couldn’t resist making funny eyeballs out of the chicken nuggets! We had to get Mickey’s ears somehow. LOL

I only THOUGHT she was ready to eat her snowman!

I was surprised that she did not jump in to devour the Tyson nuggets! Instead, she slowly licks the condiments from the nuggets! I don’t think she wanted to mess up her snowman she worked so hard on! Bless her heart!

This is the one that could not WAIT to put the WHOLE Mickey in his mouth at one time! He was ready for the next project in 2.2 seconds!

My oldest daughter was REALLY taking her time with her snowman! I don’t think I have ever seen her concentrate so hard on something! If only she would concentrate on her school work like she did this snowman LOL

We had so much fun decorating the Tyson nuggets the night before, I decided to make Christmas themed biscuits the next morning for breakfast for Christmas Eve The kids LOVED it!

Chicken Parmesan Recipe – 30 minutes or Less!

I recently had a BLAST in the kitchen!!! Progresso sent me a kit to make the most DELICIOUS Chicken Parmesan and it was SOOO easy and super quick. It literally took me 30 minutes to make this Well, maybe a little longer because I was waiting on my chicken to thaw out! Check out the recipe and let me know what you think!!

Two cans of Progresso Recipe Starters

INGREDIENTS
- 8 oz uncooked spaghetti
- 1/3 cup Progresso® Italian style panko crispy bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, flattened slightly
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 can (18 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ fire roasted tomato cooking sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
DIRECTIONS

Cook and drain spaghetti as directed on package.

In large resealable food-storage plastic bag, mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Shake each chicken breast in bread crumb mixture; set aside.

In 12-inch skillet, heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Stir in garlic; cook until garlic starts to brown. Add chicken breasts; cook 6 to 10 minutes, turning once, until browned. Pour cooking sauce around chicken; sprinkle chicken with remaining bread crumb mixture and mozzarella cheese. Heat to boiling. Cover; reduce heat to medium. Cook 5 to 8 minutes or until juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut (at least 165°F) and cheese is melted. Serve with spaghetti.

Doesn’t it make you want to start thawing out your chicken and run to the store!!! It was SOOO delicious! My kids LOVED it!

Batiste Dry Shampoo and Red-E to Go Frizzless hair products Reviews!

I was recently given the opportunity to review two products from Folica.com! The first one that I was really excited to try was the Batiste Dry Shampoo Light & Blonde! I am constantly on the go with three kids under the age of 5, so let’s face it.. Washing my hair has went down quite far on the priority list! Realistically… I think they make ball caps for women these days I can’t tell you how many times I throw a ball cap on in the mornings to bring my kids to school so no one can tell I haven’t washed my hair in a couple of days The longer your hair gets, the more tedious washing and drying it can become! I had heard of dry shampoo before, but never really thought it actually worked. I will be honest, I had my doubts that this was actually going to work but I was proven wrong! I have bright blonde highlights in my hair so when I go a couple of days without washing it, the oils in my hair stand out.

I purposely went three days without washing my hair so I could really see how the Batiste Dry Shampoo would work. The kind I was provided was for light and blonde hair. It actually had a blonde tint that worked PERFECT for oily roots. My roots are really dark, so when I sprayed the dry shampoo onto my roots and rubbed it in, you could instantly see my roots lighten up and the oily sections start to separate as if I had just washed my hair! This has become such a time-saver and I will definitely be buying this as soon as I run out! And YES, it makes your hair smell really fresh too!

The next product I reviewed was Red-E to Go Frizzless! If I do not straighten or curl my hair after it dries by itself after getting out of the shower, my hair is SO frizzy! This product did not perform a miracle on my hair so I could by-pass straightening all together, but it did tame it down quite a bit! I also noticed I did not have as many fly-aways after using it and my hair was styled. I live in Louisiana where the humidity is TERRIBLE, so this was really put to the test! My mother-n-law actually tried it as well and really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed both products, but I must say that the Batiste dry shampoo has quite possible saved me LOTS of time Time is PRECIOUS!!!

My kids attend Mother’s Day Out at my church so I was able to hold the party in the classroom as the parents were dropping off the kids. I was surprised that most of the girls sat and absolutely enjoyed the coloring sheets that I passed out to go along with the activities… The only downfall to this party was there were not enough toys to go around! I had to separate the boys SEVERAL times because they kept fighting over the Touch magic guitars! The girls were sharing the Leapfrog Touch Magic Learning bus very kindly, which surprised me! We really only had to mediate the boys! My son being the main one that did NOT want to share I kept trying to explain to him that he can play with it all he wants when he gets home but that was NOT a good enough answer for him!

I also had my 1 year old daughter in there, but she was more interested in playing with the play-doh! The majority of the kids were 3-4 and a couple were 5 years of age. I believe the favorite time the boys had on the guitar was strumming it as fast as they could! The girls LOVED the piano on the end of the Magic Touch Bus. Some of the great features about the Touch Magic Learning bus has was the learning tools that comes with this toy! I noticed one of the twins did not know her letters but every time she pressed a letter, she would repeat it afterwards… It took her no time to start learning the ABC’s while having fun at the same time! Of course, as parents we were STOKED about the $5 off coupons that LeapFrog provided us within the kit I received!

The Touch Magic Guitars definitely brings out the creative side in the kids! It actually has TEN built-in songs!! Some of the songs include, “Itsy Bitsy Spider, “If you’re happy and you know it”, “Rockin Robin”, and 7 more! This really brings out your child’s motor schools while building creativity! Product Review: Belson Profiles Spa 24-roller flocked hairsetter rollers!

I recently had the honor to review my choice of product from Folica.com! It was such a hard decision, because they have literally become my favorite hair supply website! I feel addicted so it is probably great that I was selected to review the product before I spent my husband’s money There was SO much to choose from, but I finally made my decision and chose the Belson Profiles Spa 24-roller flocked hairsetter rollers! I decided to take a goofy picture and let you see what I look like in rollers and no make-up! hehe! Don’t make fun!

I have never used rollers in my hair because I always assumed it would take WAY longer than a curling iron and leave your hair really frizzy. My assumptions could not have been farther from the truth! The Belson rollers were perfect and came with clips for every single roller! They were all different sizes that were just perfect for the layers I have in my hair. I also thought since I have a ton of hair I was going to need like 50 rollers… Another assumption FAR from the truth! I actually didn’t even have to use the full 24 count that I was provided! It only took me about 15 minutes to roll my hair. I left the rollers in for about 20 minutes while I walked around doing housework (because we all know as moms we have to multi-task). When I took the rollers out, I was in shock how well my hair looked without a spray of hair product on my hair!!! I let it fall to the way I wanted it styled, and then sprayed with hairspray!

I am now totally convinced these Belson Rollers are a complete time saver and your hair will look GREAT! Plus you don’t have to worry about indentions from curling irons or burning yourself! Another HUGE plus was how fast they heated! I would totally recommend this product in a heartbeat!! You will love it! I was recently selected to review Beyond the Grind’s DG Origin Whole Bean Coffee! I received this adorable gift set featured in the picture above. I couldn’t wait to try it. We all know how crazy I am about coffee! I picked up the bag of coffee to try it out and realized it felt different than other bags. That is when I figured out it was whole bean coffee. I have actually never tried whole bean before. I never knew there could be a difference in taste. I think the reason I had never tried it before was to prevent my kids from waking up in the morning from the sound of grinding coffee! I always gently set the spoon and cup down in the kitchen while I am fixing my coffee. I cringe and slowly look in the direction of their rooms when I drop the spoon or if I have to turn on the faucet to add more water to the Keurig! I am sure all of us moms can relate! Once they wake up, that’s it! No more mommy time!

I finally went to Target this weekend to purchase a grinder so I could try it out! I am going to be honest and say I was a little scared to try it when I read the flavor of the coffee. I figured a coffee flavor named “Ethiopian,” would be extremely strong and make me bounce off the walls! I am still drinking my cup right now and I am really enjoying it! You can make it as strong or weak as you want it and it is good either way. I prepared mine using my Keurig reusable filter. I filled it halfway the first time and to the top the second time. I cannot believe the difference in whole bean coffee and already ground coffee! It really does taste a lot more …. fresh! I let my husband try it and he really liked it as well. I can’t wait to try more flavors. Now that I have a grinder, I will be able to try them all!!

Review – My Daughter LOVES Heely’s

I was recently selected by B2B to review the Heely shoes! I knew that I would most likely end up in the hospital if I attempted to order a pair my size, so I decided to get my little girls’ size! Although, I did consider rediscovering my youth for a bit, my husband talked me out of it! I am quite clumsy just walking, so I guess I could understand where he was coming from I think the amount of money the hospital bill would have been immediately made a red flag go off for him!

When I got the shoes in and ripped open the package, I was so surprised! I was not expecting them to be so stylish! I received the charcoal gray colored shoes with a touch of light pink! My favorite thing about the shoes were that you could remove the wheels and put a cover over the hole where the wheels originally go! This way, the Heely’s become regular everyday shoes during the school day, and fun skating shoes after school! It had rained the first couple of days after I received the shoes so I had to wait a little while to let my daughter try them out! She was so anxious! We had a day that finally cleared up and we took advantage! I attached the wheels, laced them up, she put them on, and we were out the door. At first, I don’t think she really realized what was going on! She was trying to just walk in them normal, but she realized it was a bit more difficult! I continued to show her how to skate with them and she finally picked it up. She had a blast. She wanted to wear them to school the next day, but I had to tell her we would have to take the wheels off before we allowed that! I could see her getting in trouble all day with these shoes!

My husband was very nervous about letting her skate with them without a helmet, but I assured him that she would be fine. They didn’t seem like your typical skates that could slip out from underneath you to make you lose your balance. That was another favorite thing I liked about them. They were very safe, even for my 4 year old! I realized after watching her try them out, how easy they were! I began to regret not getting me a pair They really are for ALL ages!! We don’t have to be young to have a great time! The Juppy Baby Walker – Review and WINNER ANNOUNCED

I was recently selected to review The Juppy Baby Walker! Can we back-saver? Is that even a word? I have REALLY liked being able to take advantage of this! My daughter, Paisley, loves it but she wants to go faster than me sometimes. We started using the Juppy when she was 8 months old! She is now 9 months old and I have definitely seen a little improvement in her lower body strenth! She is couch surfing now! I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing!

The Juppy is doctor recommended and helps reduce the amount of falls and accidents. I would have to say that the best part about it is how easy it is to take around with you! Normally when I would go anywhere, I would have to pack up the stroller, bumbo, and sometimes the walker depending on where I was going. You can actually fit the juppy in your purse or diaper bag! It takes up about as much room as 2 diapers! It also comes with a carrying case so you can keep it away from spills that happen in your bags (we all know that happens)! The Juppy Consists of 100% Cotton so it is really easy to clean! The straps are cotton which make it very comfortable for your child. The straps also adjust to your height so you are not slouching over.My husband is 6’5 and he was able to use it with no problem!

Below is my daughter having a blast in the Juppy! It was hilarious at first because she didn’t want to put her feet in the grass, so she would just dangle for a bit! My husband started swinging her in it and she sure was enjoying that!

Explore the NEW game – Time Island for kids!

I know that school is about to take off within the next month for most of our kids, but before they have to head off to those long days of hard learning, I wanted to share with you a new kid’s survivor game that is being tested! My daughter and I were selected to review the new game, Time Island! It is a game that teaches your child strategy while allowing them to go through obstacles and complete puzzles to get to the next level! You have to keep your avatar fed, bathed, and in good health so she can survive! I promise you, it is not like the reality shows on tv that their focus is on “finding love” and completing challenges!

Your child will learn how to strategically figure out ways to live off their time chips(money), survival pack, and jungle gear all while using their map! It took us a little while to get the feel of things and figure it out, but once we navigated through the different options it grew on her. I hate to admit… as exciting as the game is, her favorite part is buying furniture for the base home and rearranging it! Hmmmm, I wonder what that tells me! I guess, if we were stranded on a deserted island together, we would have a nicely organized hut! I almost made her start rearranging my furniture after that! Unfortunately , she does not want to give the computer back now! I would suggest playing the game on a desktop computer and not a laptop, unless you have a wireless mouse! It makes things much easier, or maybe that was my excuse to let her use daddy’s computer instead

If you are like me and absolutely paranoid about your children being on the computer without supervision, you can rest assure that this game is completely safe. They do have the option that the older kids can interact with other kids that are online playing at the same time, but I chose not to use it. Their is NO profanity allowed and they also encourage you not to use your child’s real name at registration, which made me feel safe! It showed me that they do not take a child’s safety for granted and most online games these days really do not take the time to warn parents! We received this cool survivor kit pack as part of a promotion from Time Island and mom select! She has had SO much fun with all her “supplies.” At first, she did not want to give any to her friends, but I had to explain to her that she did not need 25 “fake” tattoos all for herself! Her favorite is her Time Island napsack that she got! She doesn’even want her purses anymore! Make sure you go check it out for yourself! It takes two minutes to sign up! Lysol Review and Giveaway

I was recently selected to review two of Lysol’s products. I was so excited about being chosen to review a brand that I use daily! I know that as a couponer, I am not supposed to be brand loyal, but I struggle finding other brands to measure up to Lysol! In my opinion, I feel confident that Lysol removes all of the icky germs that we come in contact with on a daily basis. When I get coupons in the Sunday Newspaper, I put them in a special place because I know there will be a sale coming up soon!

The first product that I was able to try out was a container of Lysol wipes. I know what you are thinking, “Who has not tried Lysol wipes?” Well, these were not just your average wipes. These wipes were 2 sided! One side is your normal soft, germ killing Lysol wipe. The other side has built in fibers that make it easier to scrub through messes. I decided to put these wipes through two different tests. The first was using the rough sided part of the wipe to clean spilled, hardened spaghetti sauce that was on the stove. (Yes, I purposely left it there to harden ) Normally, when spills harden on the kitchen surfaces, I get a rag and wet it with hot water. Then I spray a surface cleaner on the spill and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. I use the hot rag and wipe up the mess. I was actually able to use JUST the hard surface of the Lysol wipes in this case. I was pretty surprised that it was able to scrub through the hardened sauce. I then used the other side to wipe the remainder of the spill! It saved me time and I only used ONE wipe!

The other test that I put the wipes to, was cleaning out my van. It had been a while since that had been done and I was feeling pretty motivated. We had recently went to the beach, so it had some sort of sand/sea water smell to the car. I decided to wipe down all areas of the car with the wipes, including the sides of the van where the sliding doors build up dirt in the tracks. The wipes worked like a charm and later that evening when getting into the van, I noticed that it smelled fresh once again. We all know that it is hard to beat that Lysol smell!

The second product that I reviewed was the Lysol® Healthy Touch® No-Touch Hand Soap System! I am sure many of you have been wanting to try these out after seeing that $3.00 coupon come in the Smartsource insert on 8/7/11! If you want your kids to be obsessed with washing their hands, this is a great investment! I never thought I would have to fuss at my kids for washing their hands! Let me explain what the Lysol® Healthy Touch® No-Touch Hand Soap System does and you will probably understand why your children will be addicted. It has a sensor that let’s it know when your hand is there. Once your hand is placed in front of the sensor, it will dispense just right amount of soap for you or your child to wash their hands. You never have to touch the system (except when you are moving it away from the kids so they will stop washing their hands). The coolest part is the one I have is stainless steel inspired so you will be able to match all of your appliances or your bathroom accessories. They also come in white. ( I have that one too!)
